Naomi is a dynamic, knowledgeable, and engaging presenter. As a professor at Eckerd College I have the opportunity to work with many talented people. Naomi is at the top of my list. To date, they have come in to speak about cultural competence working with the LGBTQ+ populations in my 300-level Cultural Diversity course, as well as presenting on comprehensive sexual education in my 100-level Introduction to Human Development course. It is clear that they are able to engage and interact with students across the spectrum of majors and levels. Naomi's presentations have been well thought out and designed to directly relate to my courses. The presentations cover historical information, key ideas, and up-to-date developments in the field, however Naomi always is willing to tailor presentations to my students' needs. I have no reservations recommending Naomi.

I studied with Naomi and later worked with them on local public health planning and assessment activities in Pinellas County, Florida from 2016-2018. In my capacity as the planning and partnerships manager for the health department, it was essential to have community partners that engaged and participated in all aspects of community health planning. Whether it was the Community Health Improvement Plan, the Community Health Needs Assessment, or as a contributing member of a local steering committee, Naomi represented their agency brilliantly and compassionately. I could always rely on them to provide an honest critique of programmatic materials through the lens of equity and justice, and they would always help to make sure marginalized populations were advocated for, whether or not they were in the room. I strongly recommend Naomi for their teaching abilities, presentation skills, and community engagement work.

Health communicator, program planner, and public speaker passionate about health, equity, and community partnerships.
Naomi is an engaging and well-versed speaker. They create a space where all people feel included. Naomi uses interactive demonstrations to educate the audience on topics related to public health and diversity. Furthermore, they have a great strength in their ability to tailor the content to the audience. Whether they are speaking to adolescents or adults, Naomi presents the content in a way that is palatable for everyone. As a community organizer and public health educator, I am always eager to bring Naomi in to provide vital public health information to community members. I highly recommend them for public speaking & educational positions.

I engaged Naomi as a guest speaker for an organization and cannot rave enough. Naomi presented very sensitive information with perfect poise and frankness, in a way that was accessible to everyone and got everyone engaged. My organization has not stopped saying wonderful things about how much they appreciated Naomi's presentation style and content, and I could not be more thrilled with the real actual understanding and learning that came out of the event. It will SO benefit our members, and I am already looking for more ways to bring Naomi back.

Naomi’s presentation style is more than a practiced sharing of information. They have an innate talent for engaging others and making academic material approachable. I have found Naomi to be collaborative and challenging in a way that allows others to grow in knowledge and compassion with the least amount of growing-pains. Historically, these health topics have been uncomfortable to discuss as other professionals present from a place of shame or creating fear; Naomi embraces the concern and discomfort of the audience by educating with a frankness and humor.

I had the opportunity to learn from Naomi when I attended the 2019 Grand River Solutions conference. As far as prevention strategies go, this was the most informative presentation. Naomi educated the audience on the pervasive issues at play in child development, sex/relationship education, & vice abuse. This presentation was unique in that it addressed the issues current students are going through and offered updated solutions. I would encourage k-12 school administrators & counselors to consult with Naomi in order to bring their understanding of students needs into the 21st century.
